Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Monday.
At  3:48 p.m., they provided a tanker with water to assist with a large fire just east of Larned in Pawnee County. The fire started south of the river and extended to the north side.  
Firefighters also responded to a trash fire on South Washington Street at 7:27 p.m.

Great Bend Police
A $46 gas skip at 1315 10th St. was reported at 9:32 a.m. Monday.
Someone broke the back window out of a vehicle at 1208 Monroe St.
Police received two reports Monday of vehicles damaged by a rock. The first report came at 9:07 a.m. from 3323 Forest Ave., and the second report was at 2:29 p.m. at 2101 Washington.
A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at 2337 Washington.
A $57 gas skip at 1315 10th St. was reported at 3:18 p.m.
A hit-and-run vehicle was going west across McKinley St. in the 900 block at 4:29 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Justin Hudson, who was southbound on McKinley.
A burglary at 5210 10th St. Apt. 17 was reported Monday. Someone took a cabinet door.

Barton County Sheriff
A resident in the county reported letting her cat out around 8:30 p.m. Sunday and it returned home around 6 a.m. Monday with an arrow in its back leg.
A gasoline tower stand and a tire changer were reported stolen from 163 SW 80 Ave.
A burglary at 508 SE 67 Ave., east of Dartmouth Corner, was reported.
A cell phone was stolen from 107 Pawnee Ave.

Kansas Highway Patrol
Shane Michael Link, 23, of Ellinwood, was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington on Monday after losing control of a motorcycle in the 1200 block of NE 130 Ave., 1.2 miles north of Claflin. The accident occurred at 2:46 p.m. Link was southbound on a 2006 Suzuki when he laid the motorcycle on its side and went into the west ditch. He was wearing a helmet.
