Firefighters made five ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle on Forest Ave., it was reported Wednesday.
A vehicle driven by Jenny Allford was westbound on 21st St. turning south onto Odell at 2:19 p.m. and struck a utility pole.
A burglary was reported at 1516 16th St. Someone broke into the house and took 80 Lortab.
A vehicle driven by Jennifer Frise was eastbound on Eisenhower at 4:47 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Janice Moeder, who was southbound on Bradley.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle driven by Eric Royer hit a deer on K-96 near NW 70 Ave. at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday.
