Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Thursday.
At 8:44 p.m. they were dispatched to the 300 block of SW 70 Ave. for a small ditch fire.

Great Bend Police
At 12:36 p.m. Thursday an individual reported finding some power tools in her vehicle that did not belong to her. The items were booked into evidence.
A person in a blue car was seen driving erratically on 10th St. at 1:39 p.m. and was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital by ambulance.
A vehicle driven by Colby Hopkins was westbound on 10th St. turning north onto Eisenhower at 3:17 p.m when the driver lost control and hit the Taylor Foot Mart sign. The vehicle then crossed the street and hit a tree.

Barton County Sheriff
A possible burglary in progress at Red Barn, 31 SE 10 Road, was reported at 2:41 a.m. Thursday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck and damaged a stop sign at SW 10 Ave. and SW 30 Road, it was discovered Thursday.
A vehicle hit a deer on K-96 near Albert at 8:48 p.m. Thursday.

Sabrina Tyus, St. John — Served partial sentence
Derrcy Werner, Ellinwood — $1,770 own-recognizance bond on Barton County case and own recognizance on Great Bend municipal case
Douglas R. Meredith II, Dodge City — Received order of release on Great Bend Municipal Court case per Judge Pike; posted $2,500 surety on Rice County District Court warrant.
