Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Wednesday.
At 12:05 a.m. Thursday, units responded to 422 Walnut for arcing electrical wires. The power company was contacted.
At 2:45 a.m. there was a grass fire at 20th and Baker Ave. There was no damage and the cause of the fire is undetermined.

A vehicle driven by Amanda Wright was turning from a private drive in the 3300 block of 10th St. at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday and struck a vehicle driven by Jari Marietta, who was eastbound on 10th.
A theft and false writing case was made at 1017 Harrison St.
A resident reported unlawful use of a financial card.
Theft of checks from 1440 12th St. was reported.
A sex offense was reported at a Great Bend residence at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, but officers did not make contact with the reporting party.
A sex offense was reported at a different residence at 9:41 p.m.
A vehicle driven by Mark Crawford was westbound in the 1800 block of 10th St. at 10:11 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Shadrack Boadu, who was also westbound stopped in traffic.
