Barton County Sheriff’s Office Aug. 2 service calls A male was allegedly forging stolen checks in Great Bend. An individual reported that around $3,000 cash was stolen from his wallet at an unknown time. Four horses were out on SE 80 Ave. and SE 20 Road, about a mile south of Ellinwood, at 3:39 p.m. The sheriff’s office assisted Great Bend Police Department with traffic control following an accident at 24th and Washington St. A burglary at Mo’s Place Grill & Brew Pub, 1908 Elm St. in Beaver, occurred sometime Tuesday night, it was reported Wednesday morning.
