Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, two Saturday and eight Sunday. At 9:51 a.m. Saturday they responded to arching power lines at 119 Locust, and did a stand-by until the power company arrived. At 4:30 p.m. Sunday they responded to 216 Maple, where a smoke alarm was set off by cooking.
