Great Bend Police
Wednesday reports:
A vehicle driven by Abrah Delgadillo rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jenny Parker, who was stopped at a traffic light on Broadway at 7:52 a.m.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a metal pipe rail at 1025 Patton Road.
A vehicle driven by Auston Williams was southbound on Odell St. turning east on 21st and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Stacy Adams at 12:50 p.m.
A business reported receiving forged checks for $402.79 and $130.37.
Someone entered a vehicle at 500 Morton St. and stole tools and a .357 revolver. Loss was $1,100.
Criminal damage was done to a vehicle at an unknown location.
The house at 2115 Sunset Road was broken into sometime Wednesday evening and items were taken, including pills.
Barton County Sheriff
A car hit a deer six miles north of Claflin (at NE 130 Ave. and NE 170 Road) sometime Wednesday morning.
A Dodge Durango hit a deer on NW 30 Ave. and west K-4 at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday.
Great Bend Fire Department
A 2000 Oldsmobile driven by Eric Reed caught on fire at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday while he was traveling north on SE 20 Ave., near SE 20 Road. Firefighters extinguished fire in the engine compartment in what was ruled an electrical fire. Damage was unknown.
Firefighters also made eight ambulance runs on Tuesday and seven on Wednesday.
