Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made nine ambulance runs on Thursday. There were two fire calls, but both were false alarms.

Thursday reports:

A vehicle driven by Cheryl Isern was westbound on 10th St. at 8:59 a.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Chad Langen, who was also westbound.

Someone damaged the windshield on a 1997 Chevy pickup at 2602 Williams St.

A vehicle driven by Sammy Stremel was backing from a parking staff in the 2100 block of 16th St. at 12:19 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Barbara Ellis, who was westbound on 16th.

An individual reported someone stole his wallet and a 12 pack of Pepsi from 2525 Sixth St.

A vehicle driven by Clifford Jordan was northbound on Monroe St. at 3:42 p.m. and struck a legally parked vehicle.

A PlayStation3 game system and controllers were taken during a burglary at 100 Elm St.
