Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday, three Sunday and three Monday. There were no fires, but there was a false alarm on Saturday.

A purse found in the Walmart parking lot on Friday was booked as found property.

An iPad accidentally left in a Walmart shopping cart was found and returned to the reporting party Friday evening.

A $10 gas skip at 2334 Main was reported at 6:55 p.m. Friday.

A vehicle driven by Christine Broils was northbound in the 1300 block of Holland St. at 11:12 p.m. Friday and hit a parked vehicle.

A woman was trapped inside a car wash at 9:03 a.m. Saturday when the overhead door on the wash bay did not open. She got the door open before an officer arrived.

A vehicle driven by Melissa Yust was southbound on Monroe St. at 12:09 p.m. Saturday and struck a fire hydrant.

A vehicle driven by Fiona Kline Martin was northbound on Main at 3:45 p.m. Saturday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Yadira Leyva, who was stopped at the traffic light at Lakin Ave.

Someone entered a vehicle at 717 Coolidge St. and stole several items, it was reported Sunday.

A single gunshot was heard at 1:05 p.m. Sunday in the area of Fourth and Buckeye.

A possible gunshot was heard in the area of 2600 Pheasant Pl. at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

A vehicle driven by Melva Kober hit an object on Third St. at 9:31 a.m. Monday.
