Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and 11 Sunday.
At 7:51 p.m. Saturday they responded to Cherry Village for a fire sprinkler malfunction.  
At 5:18 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to Cherry Village for a possible gas leak. Kansas Gas Service was contacted.

Great Bend Police
Theft of items from the yard at 2526 Fifth St. was reported Friday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 2015 16th St.
A vehicle allegedly driven by David Lomas backed into a vehicle driven by Joelle Jacobs in the parking lot at 3920 10th St. at 5 p.m. Friday and left the area. He was later located.
Theft of gas from fuel tanks at 1438 24th St. was reported Saturday.
An unknown motorist was driving north on Frey St. turning west onto 12th at 2:44 a.m. Sunday and struck the curb and a parked vehicle. The driver left the scene on foot.
Someone entered a garage at 805 Stone St. and took items, it was reported Sunday.
Items were reportedly stolen from a car at 1205 Churchill Lane sometime Saturday night.
Someone broke the lock on a shed at 818 Elm St.
Theft of a sign from the Barton County Road Department, 2401 Seventh St., was reported Sunday night.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 335 NW 50 Ave. at 8 p.m. Friday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A deputy met with a Larned police officer at Walmart as a Pawnee County burglary suspect was identified Saturday afternoon.
Another BCSO deputy later assisted Pawnee County authorities with locating allegedly stolen property at a Great Bend residence, but did not make contact.
A vehicle hit a mailbox at 113 McKinley St., it was reported Sunday.
