Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made 13 ambulance runs on Wednesday.
At 10:33 a.m. they responded to 10th St. and the U.S. 281 Bypass for a truck with hot brakes on the trailer.

A Pontiac Grand Am at 905 E. Santa Fe Blvd., Ellinwood, was broken into and lights were taken at the NCRA yard on the east side of Ellinwood, it was reported Wednesday.
