Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Thursday.
At 6:06 p.m. they responded to a carbon monoxide leak at 724 Coolidge St. They found high levels of CO caused by a faulty vent on the hot water tank.

At 5:09 a.m. Thursday, someone reported there was a vehicle in the middle of Warner Road. The owner was contacted and said it had been stolen.
A vehicle driven by Richard Luse backed from a private drive in the 2200 block of 12th St. and struck a parked vehicle at 12:41 p.m. Thursday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 1500 Kansas Ave., it was reported Thursday.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle driven by David Demel struck a deer in the 300 block of NE 130 Road at 9:46 p.m. Thursday.
