Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and three Sunday.
At 12:55 p.m. Friday units responded to 3022 16th St. to check on an electrical smell in the residence. They traced the smell to a ceiling fan in a bedroom. The owner was advised to contact an electrician to replace the fan.

Barton County Sheriff
A theft was reported Friday at 173 SE 100 Ave., Ellinwood.
BCSO assisted Great Bend police with a domestic call at 4:09 p.m. in the 5900 block of Eisenhower Court.
A non-injury accident was reported at 9:24 p.m. at NE 30 Road and K-156. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A structure fire was reported at 1:33 p.m. Saturday at 921 NE 140 Ave., Claflin.
A sex offense was reported Sunday morning at the Hoisington City Pool.

Theft of tools from a vehicle at 1709 Washington St. was reported Friday.
A burglary was reported at 1717 Washington. Power tools were stolen from a garage.
A burglary was reported at 1722 Adams St.
A burglary was reported at 1703 Adams St.
A battery was reported at 12:45 a.m. Saturday at 2919 Gano St. See story on page 1.
A sex offense was reported at 12:42 a.m. Sunday at an undisclosed location.
Two men were involved in a fight around 12:48 a.m. Sunday at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main.
A sex offense reported at 10:52 a.m. was referred to the BCSO because it occurred in Hoisington.
A Roadmaster moped was reportedly stolen from 1500 Van Fleet Lane.
A Trek 800 bicycle was discovered at 6:28 a.m. Monday at 1107 10th St. and collected as “found property.”
An individual at 1200 Wilson St. reported damage to his gas tank tube and theft of fuel from his vehicle. Loss was $8.
