On Thursday a case worker reported that a Barton County female has been physically and sexually abused by her husband for years.
Theft of half a pile of rocks at 313 west Barton County Road was reported Thursday.

Theft of a Sig Sauer .45 pistol from a vehicle parked at the Best Western was reported Thursday. Loss was $900.
A vehicle driven by Cheryl Kennedy was eastbound in the 3400 block of 10th St. switching lanes at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, and struck a vehicle driven by Rhonda Phillips, who was also eastbound.
A vehicle driven by Rynn Kubick was eastbound from a private drive in the 700 block of Washington at 3:30 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Jamie Garcia who was southbound on Washington.
A burglary from a vehicle at 2901 Paseo Dr. was reported Thursday.
Kansas Highway Patrol
A motorist from Chicago, Ill., was injured Friday morning when the van he was driving ran into the rear of a semi-trailer stopped on U.S. 50 in Edwards County. The Ford van was driven by Juan D. Carrion, 30, who was taken to Edwards County Hospital with undetermined injuries. At 7:25 a.m., he hit an International semi driven by Bryon Lee Kirmer, 50, of Stafford, who was stopped at Edwards County 180th Road, waiting to turn left. Kirmer was not injured. Both men were wearing seat belts.
