Great Bend Police

A burglary at 1123 Stone St. was reported Monday. Someone entered the residence and took several tools.

A driver in a gray GMC pickup left 2716 10th St. without paying for $88 worth of fuel, at 1:25 p.m. Monday.

A male in a black hoodie reportedly stole beer from the store at 2716 10th St. around 9:40 p.m. Friday.

Theft of a Dell laptop computer from 4908 10th St. was reported Saturday.

Someone spray painted a garage door at 1415 Park Ave., it was discovered Saturday morning.

An unknown motorist hit a shed and fence at 1709 18th St. and left the area, it was reported Saturday evening.

A burglary at 4917 Quail Creek Dr. was reported Sunday. Someone took tools out of the garage.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday, eight Sunday and seven Monday.

Cooking caused an alarm to go officer Friday evening at 3005 16th St.

At 9:54 p.m. Friday there was a fire in a building at Fuller Brush. KSN reports several plastic buckets containing floor wax stripper were burning. The fire was contained by a sprinkler system above the assembly line, but the plant was evacuated until the smoke was removed.

On Sunday evening the fire department assisted law enforcement in a search for an 11-year-old boy with autism, who had been missing from the Twin Lakes area since around 4 p.m. He was located around 7 p.m. and was unharmed.
