Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Monday.

At 10:09 p.m. they were dispatched to 228 Chestnut St., where they found some limbs burning, and at 11:34 p.m. they were dispatched to 1438 24th St., where a pile of tree limbs was still smoldering and smoking from an earlier authorized burn.

Approximately $1,200 worth of fishing equipment was stolen from a boat at 618 South Main in Ellinwood, it was reported Monday.

A vehicle hit a deer at 75 East K-4 at 10:27 p.m. Monday.

Two people reported criminal use of a financial card; loss in one case was listed as $100. Another person reported theft of a debit card from 2013 1/2 11th St.

Motorist Zacker Bartel was backing south in the 3700 block of Lakin at 9:43 a.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Joel Wilson that was westbound.

Cash was taken in a burglary at 2719 Forest Ave.

Tires were flattened on a 1987 Ford F-150 at 1016 Coolidge St.
