Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made three ambulance runs Monday and three Tuesday.
They assisted Stafford County with a fire Tuesday afternoon. At 10:52 a.m. Tuesday they extinguished a grass fire at the Great Bend Police Department shooting range, located at 995 K Street in the airport complex.

A known person allegedly kicked the side of a 1989 Buick at 805 Kansas Ave., causing damage, it was reported Tuesday. Someone also cut the wire starter on the car.
The Street Department was called to remove a large tree limb from the roadway in the 2100 block of Morton St. at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday.
At 6:37 p.m. a motorist reported being in a two-vehicle accident on McKinley St. earlier in the day and later discovering damage to the vehicle.

Theft of a coil from an old air conditioning unit at 702 1/2 Patton Road was reported Tuesday.
A 2002 Ford hit a deer in the 400 block of NW 50 Ave. at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday.
