Great Bend Police
Wednesday reports:
A pickup and a Chevy Suburban collided at 18th and Hubbard St. at 7:33 a.m. Great Bend Fire Department Ambulance transported two people to Great Bend Regional Hospital and two other people were not transported.
A known person allegedly stole a can of beer from a cooler at 1221 10th St.
Someone broke into the Sears store, 2515 10th St., and stole $3,029,84.
Extra patrol in the 2100 block of Jefferson St. was requested after a resident reported several vehicles had been entered, although nothing had been taken.
At 1 p.m. a vehicle driven by Trey Schartz struck a vehicle driven by Ashley Partridge, who was stopped in traffic at 10th and Harrison waiting to turn.
A vehicle driven by Jorge Galen was turning east onto 10th St. at 4:27 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by James Slatter, who was stopped in traffic.
Someone kicked in a side door to 819 Madison, causing $100 in damage.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs on Wednesday. They also responded to Eighth and Elm when a car hit a light pole after a police pursuit. This was reported as a possible injury accident.
Barton County Sheriff
Wednesday calls:
A vehicle hit a deer in the 600 block of North U.S. 281 at 5:11 p.m.
At 7:06 p.m., Stafford County reported there had been a hit and run in Radium and the suspect vehicle was in the vicinity of SW 50 Ave. and SW 70 Road in Barton County. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A K&O Railroad employee reported the railroad gate on East K-4/West Front Street in Claflin had been hit. Claflin Police Department handled the call.
Motorist Jordan Nettlengham hit a deer on U.S. 281 just north of the K-4 junction, at 10:45 p.m.

Carl R. Hopper, Kansas City — Barton County District warrant for 11 counts of forgery and two counts of criminal use of a financial card
Jeannie Hollar-Camp, Hoisington — Battery domestic violence
