Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made one ambulance run on Wednesday and six Thursday.
At 12:06 p.m. Thursday they were dispatched to the 2900 block of 12th St. for arcing power lines. Wheatland Electric responded and took care of the problem.
At 12:43 p.m. Thursday they were dispatched to the alley of the 1100 block of Stone Street after a vehicle hit a gas meter.

Thursday reports:
Someone cut the screen on a garage window at 1209 Jackson St. Loss was $5.
A vehicle driven by Clarabell Stephenson was southbound in the 1400 block of Odell St. and struck a legally parked vehicle at 6:49 p.m.
Several windows on the back side of the house at 2907 26th St. were broken.
