Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Tuesday. There were no fires.

 

Barton County Sheriff

Tuesday reports:

Tires and other junk were dumped at NE 20 Road and NE 40 Ave.

Scrap metal and an oxygen tank were stolen from a Roto-Mix work site.

A truck hit a deer on SE 20 Road and SE 60 Ave. at 8:54 p.m.

There was a report of a cow on north U.S. 281 near NW 180 Road at 9 p.m. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.

 

Great Bend Police

Tuesday reports:

Terry Millard was backing a vehicle on private property at 2305 Heizer St. at 7:53 a.m. and struck a utility pole.

A bag containing miscellaneous clothing was taken from a locker in the locker room at Great Bend High School sometime during the school year.

A 1990 Mitsubishi was stolen sometime overnight front in front of 1208 U.S. 281 Bypass. Loss was $1,000.

A dog kennel and a tool box were stolen from the yard at 805 Monroe St.

A known person reportedly sold a trailer at 200 Pine St. that was not hers.

A deer ornament was taken from the yard at 3112 16th St.

A decal was taken from the license plate on a motorcycle at 1514 Adams St.

A driverless vehicle backed across the 2900 block of 23rd St. at 7:58 p.m. and struck a legally parked vehicle.
