Great Bend Police

Wednesday reports:

A Great Bend resident reported receiving two money orders in the mail and thought they were fraudulent. They were collected and information was taken.

The back window on a Jeep at 2535 Lakin was broken. Loss was $1,000.

Windows on a Suburban at 1305 Patton Road were broken. Loss was $1,000.

A burglary occurred at 2123 Jefferson St. Someone broke in and stole an Xbox 360 and an Xbox Kinect.

A tan-colored pickup reportedly hit a car at 619 Main Wednesday night and left the area.

 

Barton County Sheriff

Wednesday reports:

A Barton County resident reported buying a case of steaks for $388.80 and when he got his bank statement the check had been changed to $588.80.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were no fires.
