Wednesday reports:
Two tires were cut on a vehicle at 215 Maple St., allegedly by a known person. A notice to appear (NTA) in municipal court was signed but not served.
A known person allegedly stole a cell phone from an individual and violated a restraining order on Tuesday. An NTA was served.
An individual reported leaving tools at a Great Bend residence and the homeowner not giving them back. Loss was $208. A theft case was taken.
Derrick Buess, Great Bend, was served an NTA for allegedly breaking out a windshield as the vehicle owner passed by him Wednesday evening on 10th St. After Buess was stopped on the criminal damage case, he was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Barton County Jail and released after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
Police received a report at 5:26 a.m. Thursday that an unknown person had damaged a door at 1205 Eisenhower Ave.
Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a cutting torch and tanks from a pickup bed at 906 Centre St. in Pawnee Rock was reported Wednesday.
Two vehicles collided on U.S. 56 near the grain elevator in Pawnee Rock at 4:11 p.m. Wednesday. No injuries were reported.
A Kansas Bureau of Investigation vehicle hit a deer in the 700 block of West U.S. 56 at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday.
