Great Bend Police
A criminal damage case was taken Monday after a bent pole was discovered on South Washington Ave.
A vehicle driven by Kenneth Likes collided with a vehicle driven by Adison Baxter, at 3:12 p.m. Monday at 16th and Madison. The Baxter vehicle was towed but no one was injured.
A vehicle allegedly driven by Alisa Hoffner struck a parked vehicle in the 3500 block of Lakin Ave. on Monday and left. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Barton County Sheriff
A resident of student housing at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road, reported that her roommate moved out over the weekend and took her possessions, including a television, diamond earrings, necklaces, gold box, laundry detergent and ironing board.
A Kenwood stereo was reportedly stolen from a vehicle that had been wrecked and left at 174 SE 1 Ave. for approximately nine months.
Someone egged a Ford passenger car at 384 North Washington Ave. three times, it was reported Monday.
Theft of a 47-inch TV and an Xbox from a residence at 3016 Railroad Ave. was reported Monday.
Kansas Highway Patrol
A Hoisington man was injured Sunday when two vehicles collided on the U.S. 56 northbound I-135 off ramp in McPherson. Paul E. Zecha, 60, was taken to McPherson Memorial Hospital with undetermined injury.
Zecha was driving a Hyundai Entourage and was northbound on the Exit 60 off ramp at 8:55 p.m. when he failed to yield at the stop sign. A Toyota Corolla driven by George E. Andreas, 51, of Galva, struck the Hyundai in the side. No one else was injured and all were wearing seat belts.
