Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday, three Sunday and 10 Monday. On Friday they responded to a possible gas smell in the 900 block of Williams St. They assisted a citizen at Vets Lake on Sunday when a 13-year-old tried to swing in the infant swing and got stuck in the swing. They performed one carbon monoxide check on Monday.
