Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Friday, two Saturday and six Sunday.
At 12:16 p.m. Sunday they responded to a large brush fire that got into a tree on the north side of the diversion dam at 465 60 Ave. The Pawnee Rock and Albert fire departments were called to assist. Firefighters were at the scene for three hours.
At 12:31 p.m. Sunday they checked on arcing wires at 2711 McKinley St., and at 2:17 p.m. they responded to an unauthorized burn in the 1000 block of Parrish Road.
Barton County Sheriff
A stop sign at NW 20 Ave. and NW 100 Road was shot several times and needed to be replaced, it was discovered Friday afternoon.
A minor two-vehicle collision occurred in the 100 block of Patton Road at 3:32 p.m. Friday.
A Barton County resident reported a debit card that had been lost or mislaid was being using by someone.
A vehicle hit a deer in the 200 block of SE 60 Ave. at 3:52 a.m. Saturday.
A lion-shaped archery target recently reported stolen from the range south of Ellinwood was returned, it was reported Saturday.
Todd Eveleigh hit a deer with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle around 6 or 7 p.m. Saturday, approximately two miles north of Susank on the Susank Blacktop, and was taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington by friends. He reportedly had six stitches to his right ring finger and a broken middle finger and was later able to drive the vehicle home. The accident was reported Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to South Washington Ave. and 20 Road to check on a loud party, at 3:43 and 4:09 a.m. Sunday. Persons at the party said there was a fight but it broke up.

Criminal damage to a screen at 817 Williams St. was reported Friday.
Theft of a Nook tablet from 5926 Eisenhower Ave. No. 28 was reported Friday.
A known person allegedly shoplifted from 2545 10th St.
Robert Graham was driving west in the 2500 block of 10th St. at 5:47 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Candis Sellers, who was stopped in traffic. The Sellers vehicle then hit a vehicle driven by Glenn Randall, who was also stopped in traffic.
Someone cut a tire on a vehicle at 1812 Madison St., it was reported Friday.
A vehicle driven by Marai Pasos was northbound in the outside lane in the 600 block of McKinley St. at 7:21 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Jerry Shull, who was northbound on the inside lane trying to turn right.
A vehicle driven by Debra Jemison was eastbound on 10th at 9:45 p.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Matt Moud, who was stopped in traffic.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 4200 10th St.
A vehicle driven by Kelsey Beakey was going north from a private drive turning onto the 3800 block of 10th St. at 5:18 p.m. Saturday and struck a vehicle driven by John Burton, who was westbound on 10th.
Theft of a license plate decal from 5930 Eisenhower Court Apt. A was reported Saturday.
Theft of a Vision card from 2411 Coronado Ave. was reported Saturday.
Police were called to assist the Barton County Sheriff’s Office when a deputy stopped a vehicle with six people inside, at 4:25 a.m. Sunday on South Washington Ave.
