Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer on North U.S. 281 and NW 160 Road at 9:17 a.m. Friday.

A mailbox at 292 North Washington Ave. was damaged, it was reported Saturday.

A car was hit by two deer half a mile north of 248 SE 140 Ave., around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Theft of a checkbook and cell phone from a vehicle parked at The Rack, 3222 Railroad Ave. was reported Sunday, and the alleged victim also reported someone used his checks at a clothing store.

A car hit a deer at 210 SE 60 Ave. around 8:20 p.m. Sunday.

A car hit a deer two miles west of Claflin on K-4 at 6:53 a.m. Monday.

 

Great Bend Police

Friday reports:

Someone entered a 2009 Chevy Malibu at 1322 Warner Circle and took some guns.

A $36 gas skip at 1906 Main was reported at 12:54 p.m.

An identity theft case was reported.

Items were stolen from the store at 3503 10th St.

Theft of items by a know person was reported at 1707 Hubbard St.

A vehicle driven by Susan Milholland was westbound on 10th St. at 5:54 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Trevor Olson that was northbound across 10th from a private drive.

A vehicle driven by Sarah Neeland was northbound on Adams at 6:06 p.m. and struck a vehilce driven by Saturino Terceno that was southbound on Adams.

Theft of a wallet from 2701 24th St., followed by unauthorized use of one of the credit cards was reported.

A couple left 3209 10th St. at 7:53 p.m. without paying for their food.
