Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

A vehicle driven by Dale A. Byerly was eastbound on 20th St. at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday and struck a parked vehicle.
A male broke the screen on a gas pump at 1221 10th St. at 11:24 a.m.
A vehicle driven by Nicole Serpan was westbound on 10th St. in the turn lane at 12:15 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Robin Fought, who was also westbound attempting to merge into the turn lane.
Roberta S. Barlow was pulling onto the 2900 block of 10th St. from a private drive at 2:04 p.m. and her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Richard H. Gier, who was eastbound on 10th.
Theft of items from a vehicle at 5210 10th St. Apt. 1 was reported.
Vehicles driven by Amber D. Welcher and Robert L. Brittain collided at 4:21 p.m. at 19th and Cleveland.
A burglary at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 2701 17th St., was reported. Items were taken from the church.
A burglary at 1810 Hubbard St. was reported. Items were taken from a shed.

Barton County Sheriff
The sheriff’s office assisted the Kansas Department of Revenue with seizure of items from the business at 210 C North U.S. 281 at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday.
