Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made one ambulance run on Thursday. There were no fires, but two false alarms.

An individual allegedly took a 2011 Chevy Impala at 1724 10th St. for a test drive and did not return it, it was reported Thursday.
Three officers assisted the Kansas Bureau of Investigation with serving an arrest warrant and a search warrant for the residence at 808 Hubbard St. at 11:16 a.m. Thursday. A male was arrested on a federal drug warrant and taken to the Barton County Jail pending transport to a federal jail.
Theft of a 60-day tag from a vehicle at 2027 Morton St. was reported.
A vehicle driven by Connie Hunn was southbound on K-96 at 4:29 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Harold Dreher, who was also southbound and stopped in traffic.
A vehicle driven by Joan Henning was southbound on Washington at Lakin at 7:16 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Sara Bruce, who was also southbound and slowing in traffic.
A vehicle was scratched while parked at 2334 Main, it was reported Friday.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer on East K-4 at NE 40 Ave. at 7:03 a.m. Friday.
