Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday and five Sunday.
At 12:43 a.m. Sunday they were dispatched to the 200 block of Liberty Road for an illegal bonfire at a party. At 10:30 a.m. they were dispatched to 59 NW 50 Road to extinguish a burning trash can.

 Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer on East K-4 and NE 40 Ave. at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, and another vehicle hit a deer on East K-4 and NE 20 Ave. at 8:47 a.m. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
Stop signs were down and posts broken in the area of SE 50 Road and SE 40 Ave., it was discovered Saturday.

Great Bend Police
Friday reports:
A vehicle driven by Jeffery Compton was westbound on 12th St. at 7:42 a.m. Friday and struck a vehicle driven by Edgar Garcia, who was northbound on Holland. Garcia was cited for failure to yield.
Three windows were broken on a garage door at 1015 McKinley St.
A vehicle driven by Brian Thorne backed into a Fed-Ex vehicle parked in the 900 block of Washington St. at 1:57 p.m.
A cell phone was stolen from 2027 Morton St.
Someone damaged the back door to a residence at 1410 11th St.
A vehicle driven by Christopher Cates was eastbound on 10th St. at Frey at 5:09 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Michael Willenberg, who was stopped in traffic at the light.
A gas skip at 1315 10th St. was reported at 6:21 p.m.
