Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend firefighters responded to six Emergency Medical Service calls Thursday. There was one false alarm caused by a system malfunction.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-residential burglary was reported Thursday at 1127 NW 30 Road, Albert.


Great Bend Police

A package was stolen from a residence at 1315 Morton St., it was reported Thursday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:06 a.m. at Broadway and Harrison.

A garage door was damaged at Salvation Army, 2545 10th St.

Waters True Value Hardware reported an individual renting a fan and not returning it. A notice to appear in municipal court was signed.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:37 p.m. at Walgreens, 3920 10th St.

Police responded to a child in need of care report at 3:36 p.m.

Police took someone into protective custody at 4:15 p.m.

Non-injury crashes were reported at 5 p.m. in the 3500 block of 10th St. and at 8:03 p.m. at 308 Buckeye St.
