Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Friday, seven on Saturday and five on Sunday. There was one fire call on Saturday.
At 1:07 p.m. units responded to a grass fire at 3706 Railroad Ave. The fire had come up to the foundation of the house, but was stopped before any structural damage was done. The homeowner stated that they were cleaning up the outside property and were unsure what started the fire.

Theft was reported at Walnut Plaza Apartments located at 2611 27th St.
Criminal damage was reported in the 80 Block of South Washington. City signs were damaged.
An injury accident was reported at 19th and Main Street.
A non-injury accident was reported at Lakin and Washington Avenue.
April 8
Theft was reported at Great Bend Housing Authority located at 1101 Kansas Ave. Apt. 801. DVD’s stolen from a vehicle.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2524 8th St.
A non-injury accident was reported at Frey Street and Park Avenue.
April 9
A non-injury accident was reported at 11th and Frey Street,
A non-injury accident was reported at 5824 Hemlock Drive.
Criminal damage was reported at Barton Community Youth Care located at 2212 Forest Ave. Tail light in a vehicle was damaged.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1400 Cherry Lane.
