Vehicle windows broken
Great Bend Police received five reports Sunday of vehicle windows being broken. In the morning, there were reports that the driver’s side windows were broken on a Chevrolet Tahoe at 327 Frey St., a Chevrolet Cavalier at 1307 Taft St., and a Chevy Venture at 2130 Pawnee Road. In the afternoon, police received reports of a broken vehicle window at 2331 Cleveland St. and another at 3206 23rd St.
Police also receive a report Monday afternoon of a vehicle window being shot out at 1317 Warner Road, for a loss of $250.

Hit-and-run drivers cause damage
In recent days, hit-and-run vehicles damaged several legally parked vehicles in Great Bend and then theft the area. Great Bend Police received reports of vehicles damages at 3307 10th St., 1301 Main St., 3500 10th St. and 1500 Kansas Ave.
At 3:29 p.m. Monday, Tammy Fleske reported she was driving west on 24th St. when her vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle, which then left the area.

Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters performed a carbon monoxide check at 1412 21st St. on Friday.
They made five ambulance runs Friday, seven Saturday, five Sunday and two Monday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
Chains and oilfield equipment were reported stolen Friday from 1705 NE 20 Ave.
Theft of targets from the Ellinwood archery range, SE 20 Road and SE 105 Ave., was reported Saturday.
Theft of a cell phone from Barton Community College was reported Sunday.
A 16-foot utility trailer was stolen from Mac’s Tee Box, 156 North U.S. 281, it was reported Sunday.
A burglary at 600 Main St. om Albert was reported Sunday. The residence had been trashed and a vehicle at 1333 NE 80 Ave. was damaged.
Criminal damage and theft of anhydrous ammonia at the Pawnee Rock Co-op was reported Monday.
A Barton County resident reported identity theft.

Great Bend Police
A known person allegedly stole sunglasses from 1221 10th St. on March 29, it was reported Friday.
A known person allegedly stole hydrocodone pills from Dillon’s, 4107 10th St.
A male in an older model white Ford pickup allegedly left 2334 Main St. without paying for $168.71 in fuel at 1:52 p.m. Friday.
A Great Bend resident reported someone forging checks at Walgreen’s and True Value using his account.
A garden tiller was stolen from the back yard at 1806 Hubbard St., it was reported Friday.
Theft of an iPhone from 2805 Ninth St. was reported Saturday.
Damage to three mail boxes at 2011 32nd St. was reported Sunday.
Theft of a nail gun and grill from a shed at 2401 Walnut Drive was reported Sunday.
Two gold necklaces were reported stolen Monday from 1721 12th St. Loss was estimated at $1,500.
Criminal damage to property at 309 Frey St. was reported Monday. Someone entered the residence, stole the front door, damaged a window and left water running inside.
Theft of an LG cell phone from Park School, 1801 Williams St., was reported Monday. Loss was $170.
