Theft of a vehicle from 5501 Ninth St. Lot 70 was reported Monday morning. The vehicle was located over the noon hour when Roman Garza showed up at the residence in it. Garza was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of possession of stolen property in lieu of $5,000 bond. He was also booked on an Ellis County District Court charge of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery and criminal threat, to be held with no bond.
A package was reportedly stolen from 1416 Broadway Ave.
A wallet was reportedly stolen from 3200 26th St.
A Great Bend resident reported loaning his 2006 Chevy Equinox to a woman who refused to return it. The vehicle was located in Branson, Mo. A theft by deception case was taken.
At 1:28 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report of an aggravated burglary at 2202 29th St. Two known people allegedly forced entry into a garage and took four rims.

Found property: An all-terrain vehicle showed up in a trailer on a lot at the Cheyenne Bottoms Headquarters, 204 NE 60 Road, last Friday afternoon.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:04 a.m. Monday at SE 50 Road and SE 60 Ave., or half a mile east of Dartmouth and the Five Mile Blacktop.
Vehicles collided at 1:36 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of South Main, south of Hoisington.
