Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs on Thursday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
Door knobs and windows were damaged on a storage shed at the park at 4800 17th St. Terrace, it was reported Friday. A door and window on another building were also damaged.
A vehicle driven by Vaugh Jenkens struck a vehicle driven by Sarah Edds, who was stopped in traffic at 2000 Washington at 12:28 p.m.
A burglary was reported at 1803 Willow Lane. A PlayStation, laptop(s) and games were stolen. Loss was over $2,000.
A vehicle driven by Aryiah Smith backed into a parked vehicle at 3:18 p.m. at 2027 Morton St.
A burglary was reported at 720 Main.
Around 4:14 p.m., an unknown male reportedly walked out the front door of Walmart, 3503 10th St., with a bike without paying.
A gas skip involving a blue Oldsmobile was reported at 9:48 p.m. at 1315 10th St.
Great Bend Regional Hospital contacted the police at 10:20 p.m. to report a cat bite in the 3600 block of 21st St. Rabies vaccination could not be verified and the cat was picked up by the humane society.

Barton County Sheriff
Thursday evening, it was reported that a female had been physically assaulted at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road, and was in the hospital.
Ellinwood District Hospital reported a dog bite at 9:40 p.m., saying a rural Ellinwood victim had been bitten by the family dog and had significant facial injuries.
