Great Bend Police
A fraud case was taken Tuesday after a Great Bend resident reported an unknown subject filing taxes under her name.
Vehicles driven by Kayla Killenger and David Pavonika collided at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday on 12th St. at an alley.
At 2:46 p.m., a man reported his Ford Explorer had been stolen from the Subway parking lot on 10th St., but it was located at the Perkins parking lot, where he had left it.
Vehicles driven by Falone Schwartz, Taylor Johnson and Rachelle Hillegeist collided at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday at 18th and Main, in an injury accident.
Vehicles driven by Kristi Esfeld and Doris Steinert collided at 5:33 p.m. in the 1300 block of Main.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle in the parking lot at Dillon’s, 4107 10th St.
A man who was passed out in front of the Handlebar and Grill, 807 10th St., at 10:36 p.m. was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital.

Barton County Sheriff
A woman who contacted the Great Bend Police Department around 12:37 p.m. Tuesday about a battery that allegedly occurred on Kiowa Road was referred to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office. BCSO was contacted at 12:48 p.m. and the woman also reported subjects had taken her property, including a phone, and thrown the items out.
Tank batteries on West Barton County Road and NW 80 Ave. were “shot out,” it was reported Tuesday.
A suspected fraud/phone scam attempt was reported. A caller was claiming to set Green Dot cards from Walmart.
