Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Tuesday. At 10:56 a.m. they were dispatched to check on an electrical problem at 3601 22nd St. They found a furnace problem causing a light haze of smoke. The home was cleared of smoke and the furnace was shut down.
Barton County Sheriff
A man running a power washer was overtaken by fumes Tuesday morning in a hog barn one mile east of the county line, at SE 20 Ave. and SE 70 Road.
Great Bend Police
Three forgery cases were taken Tuesday at 3503 10th St.
A $40.02 gas skip at 3620 10th St. was reported at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday.
An HP-brand laptop computer was reported stolen from 1910 Madison St.
