Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Friday, five on Saturday and six on Sunday. There was one fire call.
At 5:06 p.m. units responded to 1810 Lakin for a report of smoke in the back of the residence. Upon arrival units found light smoke inside the residence.
All occupants were outside prior to their arrival.
Upon further examination units found the smoke to be coming from the washer in the rear of the house. The occupant had already unplugged the washer. The cause of the smoke was the motor on the washer.

A one vehicle roll over injury accident was reported at 930 SE 40 Road in Ellinwood. The two occupants of the vehicle were taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital for treatment.
Theft of a lawn mower battery was reported at 457 Kiowa Road.
Burglary was reported at 113 E 3rd St in Hoisington.
