Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, 12 Saturday and four Sunday.
At 12:16 p.m. Friday, firefighters extinguished as small ditch fire at 36 NE K-156, and at 4:22 p.m. they extinguished a small fire in a soybean field at 24th and McKinley St.

Great Bend Police
Animal Control requested an officer at 10:49 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of 17th St.
At 12:30 a.m. on Friday, a man reportedly entered a residence in the 3400 block of Lakin Ave. illegally and then tried to sell the occupants home security.
A known male allegedly battered a woman at 1015 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Beverly Wilcox and Anthony Morss collided at 1:35 p.m. Friday at 1015 Wilson St.
Theft of medication was reported at 1700 Lakin Ave.
Theft from a vehicle at 810 Coolidge St. Apt. G was reported Friday night.
K-9 Kia was called out for a vehicle sniff at 12:21 a.m. Saturday on Ninth St., and an arrest was made on an alleged narcotics violation.
A cell phone was reportedly stolen from 3320 Forest Ave.
An aggravated battery was reported at 4:13 p.m. Saturday at 1444 Heizer St. Brock Ryan was booked in lieu of $20,000 bond.
A woman reported being battered by another woman Saturday in the 1200 block of Hoover St. A notice to appear in municipal court was signed.
A vehicle at 3319 18th St. was damaged.
A cell phone was stolen from 1207 Hoover St., it was reported Sunday.
All four windows to a 2006 Buick at 823 Pine Pl. were broken, and meds were taken from inside the vehicle.
At 5:15 p.m. Sunday, police received a reported that a male had accidently locked a child in a car on Pyle St. The reporting party broke out his own car window to gain access to the child.
A vehicular burglary from 3500 10th St. was reported at 12:13 a.m. Monday after items were recovered in a van in the county.

Barton County Sheriff
A burglary at 1590 NE 50 Road was reported Friday. The back door to the home was damaged. Guns and other items were missing.
A pulling unit hit a pole at 3:40 p.m. Friday at 1160 SE 50 Road.
On Sunday morning, someone reported a window was shot out on a vehicle at 5540 2nd St. Lot G.
An injury accident was reported at 2:16 p.m. Sunday at 178 North U.S. 281, after a Jeep and a Camaro collided just north of La Boom.
An injury accident was reported at 1:14 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of North Washington Ave., Great Bend. A Ford F-100 driven by James M. Wonsetler, 27, Great Bend, failed to yield while exiting a private drive and was struck by a Mack truck driven by Charlie Scott Jr., 52 (no address listed in report). Shane Griffin, 20, of Great Bend, was a passenger in the Ford. He sustained minor injuries and was transported by Great Bend ambulance to Great Bend Regional Hospital.
