Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Tuesday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of gas from vehicles at 1432 NE 90 Ave. was reported Sunday.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:12 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of North U.S. 281.
Checks were stolen from 318 SW 40 Ave. and checks were being forged, it was reported Monday.
A vehicle driven by Marilyn Schartz struck a deer at 9:47 p.m. Monday on East Barton County Road and SE 90 Ave.
A vehicle hit a deer on West K-4 and NW 70 Ave. at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday.
A car hit a deer half a mile west of Heizer on K-96 at 6:49 a.m. Tuesday.

Great Bend Police
A man in a dark colored Ford Bronco was reportedly seen taking items Sunday night from a construction site on Washington St.
Someone tore a piece of plywood from a window on a garage at 821 Morphy St.
A shoplifting at 2334 Main was reported at 6:47 p.m. Sunday.
Police investigated a report of methamphetamine at Lakin and McKinley at 12:49 a.m. Monday. Information about a named suspect was sent to the Barton County Attorney.
A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at 4001 10th St.
An injury accident was reported at 3:05 p.m. Monday at Broadway and Harding. A vehicle driven by Glenna Gaunt was turning and struck pedestrian Jordan Otten.
A fifth wheel at 1010 8th St. was damaged, and items were stolen from storage compartments, it was reported Monday.
A fake $5 bill was passed at 1000 Main.
A burglary at 214 Locust St. was reported Tuesday. Someone entered the rental house and took the breakers and wiring.
Vehicles driven by Marc Waite and Samuel Trahan collided in the 3300 block of 10th St. at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday.
