Great Bend Fire/EMS
At 11:06 p.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to a fire at 201 Plum. They found a couch in the driveway burning. The homeowner stated that they were outside smoking when a cigarette was dropped and started the couch on fire.
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Monday.

Great Bend Police
Fraud cases were taken Monday after a Great Bend resident said someone was using her banking numbers to purchase items online.
A bicycle was reportedly stolen from 1111 Morphy St.
A burglary was reported at 2310 8th St. Someone entered the residence and took items.
A tag was taken from a car at 1615 Jefferson St.
A hit-and-run vehicle backed into a parked vehicle at 1001 Main.
A vehicle driven by Carol Nicholson backed into a parked vehicle at 2414 Zarah Dr. at 6:25 p.m. Monday.
Four yard lights and two flower pots were reportedly stolen from 2123 17th St.
A domestic call at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday became a burglary report with a known suspect and criminal damage to property at an apartment on 11th Street.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident at 299 East U.S. 56 was reported at 7:24 a.m. Monday, after a sport utility vehicle went in a ditch.
An injury accident on NW 20 Road and NW 20 Ave. was reported at 9:11 a.m. after two vehicles collided.
