Barton County Sheriff
An at-large pit bulldog, owner unknown, showed up at 415 Kiowa Road on Wednesday and tried to attack two dogs at the residence. Those dogs were brought inside and the Golden Belt Humane Society picked up the stray.
A vehicle hit a deer on West U.S. 56 and SW 40 Ave. at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A non-injury rollover accident occurred Wednesday night at SW 20 Ave. and SW 30 Road. Alleged driver Matthew Walton left the scene without reporting. He was found in Great Bend and arrested.

Great Bend Police
A known person tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at 3907 Broadway, it was reported Tuesday.
Vehicles driven by Adam Bilbrey and Michelle Rose collided at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday at 10th and Grant.
Yard statues were stolen from 2320 17th St., it was reported Wednesday.
Vehicles driven by Betty McCord and Loretta Lauer collided in the 5600 block of 10th St. at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday.
A vehicle driven by Valerie McAtee was westbound in the 2300 block of Broadway at 6:17 p.m. and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Leslie Raffelock, who was stopped in traffic.
