Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters responded to a small ditch fire on West Barton County Road at 1:31 p.m. Tuesday. They made three Emergency Medical Service runs during the day.

A $600 check was allegedly forged at Sunflower Bank, 3600 10th St., it was reported Tuesday.
A woman who previously reported theft of her purse at the Westgate Shopping Center found the purse.
A German shepherd was reportedly stolen from the yard at 1224 Van Buren St.
A found wallet was returned to its owner.
An identity theft case was reported Tuesday after someone allegedly used a Great Bend resident’s name to set up a Facebook account.
A subject allegedly passed a forged prescription at Dillon’s pharmacy, 4107 10th St.
A vehicle driven by Richard Schiff was southbound on Washington at 2:59 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Hanna Gotchall, who was stopped in traffic.
