Firefighters made four ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.

Barton County Sheriff
U.S. 56 was blocked temporarily following a non-injury accident at 11:10 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 56 at Dundee, east of 50 Ave. A semitrailer collided with a white truck, which rolled onto its side. Along with a wrecker, Haz-Mat was summoned because a fuel tank was leaking.

Great Bend Police
On Thursday afternoon, police received a report that someone had damaged a hose at Buff Car Wash, 4800 10th St.
A mountain bike located on the north side of a building at 10th and Main was turned in as “found property.”
At 12:55 a.m. Friday, a woman reported being battered by a known person, who was served a notice to appear in municipal court. This occurred in the 5800 block of 16th St. Terrace.
