Barton County Sheriff
Two vehicles collided in a non-injury accident at 7:56 a.m. Monday on SE 60 Ave. and SE 20 Road.
A child in need of care (CINC) report was taken Monday, after a day-care reported a child was brought in with several fractures.
Several items such as wire have been stolen from the asphalt plant on East K-4 and NE 90 Ave., it was reported Monday.
At 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, a motorist reported three deer came onto North US. 281 at mile marker 108 – just before the Walnut Creek bridge – and her car struck a small deer.
A vehicle hit a deer shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday on West Barton County Road and NW 90 Ave.

Vehicles driven by Manula Espino and Roger Marley collided at 8:07 a.m. Monday at 18th and Heizer St.
Police received a report Monday morning that forged checks were being written on an individual’s bank account. Then a known person allegedly tried to cash a check written on his account, and later that morning a second known person allegedly tried to cash a check on that account.
Vehicles driven by Gregory King and Troy Bryer collided at 10:07 a.m. Monday on 16th St.
An identity theft case was taken after an unknown person used a woman’s information for a checking account.
Vehicles driven by Virginia Fox and Robert Espinosa collided at 12:04 p.m. Monday at 4010 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Michael Kramer and Charlene Beach collided at 3:01 p.m. at 3220 10th St.
Theft of a cell phone from Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., was reported Monday.
A male reportedly shoplifted items from Hibbett Sports, 3709 10th St., around 5:10 p.m. Monday. Loss was $125.
Police arrested an alleged stalker at 9:31 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Hubbard St.
At 11:03 p.m., it was reported that a known person had threatened to kill a man, in the 2900 block of Morton St.
A notice to appear in municipal court was signed at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, when an employee at Dillons, 4107 10th St., was suspected of theft.
A burglary was reported Tuesday morning at 909 Adams St. after a camper was broken into.
Ellis County requested an officer go by Acme Iron on Tuesday to see if a large amount of scrap metal had been dropped off.
Vehicles driven by Cheri VonFeldt and Stephani Moose collided on Ninth St. at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday.
A sex offense involving a juvenile was reported late Tuesday morning at a Great Bend residence.
A woman reported her wallet being stolen at Walmart, 3503 10th St.
Another woman reported a wallet stolen from 5926 Eisenhower Ave.
