Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Thursday.
At 12:38 p.m. they responded to 105 Third St. for a possible structure fire. Upon our arrival they saw smoke showing, which turned out to be coming out of the chimney pipe. There was no fire. At 1:04 p.m. they performed a carbon monoxide check at 705 East 10th St. No CO was found.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A semitrailer driver from Brown County was injured Friday morning when his rig went off East 100 Ave. at 70th Road in Stafford County, about 7 miles south of Ellinwood. Philip D. Nelson, 60, of Everest, was southbound in the Freightliner when he attempted to negotiate a curve to fast. He lost control and left the roadway. The vehicle rolled onto its side. Nelson was trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital. With undetermined injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Barton County Sheriff
A deer feeder and a camera were stolen from the 600 block of SW 70 Ave., it was reported Thursday.
Two vehicles collided at 5:45 p.m. Thursday on NE 40 Ave. and NE 20 Road. This was reported as an injury accident.

Great Bend Police
Damage to a fence at 1200 10th St. was reported Thursday.
Someone shot out a window with a pellet gun at 1111 Main.
A vehicle driven by Kory Jones was eastbound on 17th St. near Main at 12:58 p.m. Thursday and struck a vehicle driven by Richard Boeckman, who was stopped at a stop sign.
Theft of tires from a Fifth St. location was reported.
Eleven counts of criminal use of a business financial card by an ex-spouse was reported.
A burglary was reported at 1925 Washington Ave. Someone stole a wallet from the residence.
A vehicle that was taken for a test drive from 1301 10th St. was not returned, it was reported late Thursday afternoon.
A vehicle driven by Grace Conrad was backing from a private drive on 19th St. at 4:47 p.m. Thursday and collided with a vehicle driven by Katelyn Briney.
At 10:52 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 3100 block of 12th St., an officer located a stolen license decal, which was collected and booked into evidence.
