Firefighters made five ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.

Vehicles driven by Elmer Becker and Alex Crawford collided around 6:08 p.m. Monday at Broadway and Harrison in Great Bend. BCSO responded because the accident involved a City of Great Bend vehicle.
A deer hit the driver’s side of a vehicle at 6:29 p.m. on East K-4 and NE 40 Ave.
A vehicle hit two deer, killing one, at 11:41 p.m. on NE K-156 and NE 80 Road.

Great Bend Police
A shoplifting was reported Monday at Dollar General, 5318 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Rachel Moore and Gary Gabel collided at 10:21 a.m. Monday at 12th and Baker.
Vehicles driven by Sheila Steirs and Kenneth Gray collided at 2:17 p.m. in the 2500 block of 11th St.
A vehicle driven by Keith Heeke struck a fence at 2:57 p.m., while pushing snow at 5320 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Christina Nemenich and Kalvin Marsh collided at 4:02 p.m. in the 1800 block of Kansas Ave.
A vehicle pushing snow struck a vehicle in the parking lot at 1500 Kansas Ave. The driver was unknown.
A theft was reported at Walmart.
Monday night, a woman reported her hand was swollen after being scratched by a stray cat in the 1800 block of Cottonwood Lane. She was treated at Great Bend Regional Hospital and a case was made.
