Kansas Highway Patrol
A vehicle driven by Judy E. Shelton, 62, St. John, went off the 000 block of NE 40th Ave., four miles west of Stafford, at 12:25 p.m. Monday. The 2008 Nissan came back on the roadway but the driver over-corrected and lost control. The Nissan came to rest in a field. Shelton was taken to Stafford County Hospital with undetermined injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

Barton County Sheriff
At 5:44 a.m. Monday, BCSO checked on a subject who was knocking at a door in the county. Investigation showed two males were in a 1993 Jeep that went off the road in the 700 block of NW 130 Road. Both males received citations involving the accident and the alleged attempt to not report it, and for allegedly giving false information about the accident. This was reported as a non-injury accident, although one of the men was later taken to Clara Barton Hospital in Hoisington by private vehicle, for a possible concussion.
Jose Villegas, Great Bend, reportedly ran from a vehicle after a traffic stop at 11th St. and Kansas Ave. in Great Bend at 10:34 p.m. Monday. He was arrested and booked into the county jail on charges of obstruction, driving with a suspended license and running a stop sign. He was released after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
A stop sign was down at NW 100 Road and NW 40 Ave. on Tuesday morning.
Theft of a cell phone from 4 NW 30 Road was reported.
A vehicle hit a deer in the 700 block of SE 20 Road, 1.5 miles east of Dartmouth on the Two-Mile Blacktop, at 5:46 p.m. Tuesday.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle parked in the 2100 block of Adams St. slipped out of gear at 11:06 a.m. Monday and struck a parked vehicle.
A vehicle driven by Cayton Janousek was eastbound in the 3800 block of 17th St. at 2:51 p.m. Monday when it slid on some ice and struck a parked vehicle.
A vehicle driven by Roberto Rodriguez was westbound on Eighth St. at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle driven by Angel Prieto, who was also westbound. The vehicle driven by Prieto then struck a stop sign and a tree.
