Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, two Saturday and four Sunday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A white 2008 Ford F-350 truck was stolen from 221 Baker Ave., it was reported Friday.
A vehicle driven by Betty Showalter struck a parked Ford F-150 at 10:20 a.m. Friday on Broadway Ave.
Vehicles driven by Mitchell Jones and Troy Meitner collided at 5:04 p.m. at 1109 Main.
Police issued an attempt to locate (ATL) bulletin after a male allegedly threatened to kill a woman at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.
A vehicular burglary at 5501 Ninth St. Apt. 29 was reported at 5:55 a.m. Saturday. A purse was taken.
A male who sustained a gunshot wound in the 2100 block of Adams St. was treated at the emergency room at 6:48 p.m. Saturday. It was determined the cause was accidental.
An attempted check forgery at Walgreen’s, 3920 10th St., was reported Sunday.

Barton County Sheriff
A hit-and-run accident was reported at 11:49 a.m. Saturday. A 15-year-old male reported damage to the front of the vehicle he was driving occurred at 30 Road and U.S. 281 after he turned left to go to Great Bend. He reported a white Chevy truck that was down the road came around him in the ditch, then slammed on the brakes in front of him. After the vehicle the juvenile was driving hit the rear of the truck, the other driver left the scene.
A vehicle hit a deer at 5:16 p.m. Saturday on East K-4 and NE 80 Ave.
A Hoisington police vehicle hit a pole around 7 a.m. Sunday at 109 East First St. BCSO deputies took the accident report.
A stop sign was down Sunday evening at NW 50 Ave. and K-96.
