Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs on Friday six on Saturday and seven on Sunday. There was one fire call on Friday for arcing wires and two fire calls on Saturday. A ditch fire was reported in the 100 block of U.S. 281 and a bon fire was reported at diversion dam. The fire was extinguished.

Great Bend Police
Dec. 4
Criminal damage was reported at Riley Elementary School located at 1515 10th St. A lock on a shed was cut off.
A non-injury accident was reported at Forest Avenue and Williams Street.
Criminal damage was reported at 1602 Morton St. Christmas decorations were damaged.
A non-injury accident was reported at Broadway and Truman Street. A vehicle hit a raccoon.
Theft of a meal was reported at Applebees located at 3209 10th St.
Dec. 5
Theft of firearms was reported at 1602 Park Ave.
A non-injury accident involving two vehicle was reported at 10th and Washington St.
Theft of fuel was reported at Casey’s General Store located at 2716 10th St.
An injury accident was reported at 16th Street and Hubbard. A vehicle was westbound on 16th and struck another vehicle which was heading northbound on Hubbard and failed to yield.
Dec. 6
Theft of a debit card was reported at 2500 Zarah Drive.
A non-injury accident was reported at 1615 Stone St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 301 10th St. A unknown vehicle was backing up and struck a parked vehicle.
Theft of medication was reported at 1101 Kansas Ave.

Dec. 4
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 215 E U.S. 56 in Ellinwood. A vehicle ran off the road and struck a sign.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2nd Street and Main Street in Great Bend.

An injury accident was reported at S U.S. 281 in Great Bend.
