Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Donald Piland slid on ice and struck a fire hydrant on Broadway Ave. at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday.
A burglary was reported at 2508 Paseo Drive. A ring was stolen; loss was $5,500.
A vehicle driven by Kimberly Vink collided with a vehicle driven by Clay Poepple at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday at Lakin and Odell.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
An individual at 623 Baker St. contacted police at 3:53 a.m. Friday and reported a subject pulling a gun on him and threatening him.
A hit-and-run accident was reported at 2:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Park Ave. The vehicle struck two parked vehicles and left. A suspect driver was later arrested for driving under the influence.
Someone drove through a yard at 1303 Cleveland St., damaging the yard, it was reported Saturday.
A vehicle driven by Chris Wonsettler struck a vehicle driven by Eleutero Perez, who was westbound slowing in traffic in the 3300 block of 10th St. at 1:33 p.m. Saturday.
An unknown driver struck a parked vehicle at 1615 Lakin Ave.
A vehicle driven by Brady Buehler slid into a parked vehicle in the 2100 block of Adams St. at 11:39 p.m. Saturday.
A hit-and-run vehicle hit a vehicle that was legally parked in the alley behind 1615 Lakin Ave. on Saturday.
Theft of a vehicle from the 1100 block of Jackson St. was reported at 3:45 a.m. Sunday; the vehicle was later located in Hoisington.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 1000 block of Eighth St. on Sunday.

Barton County Sheriff
A minor two-vehicle accident on Main St. in Olmitz was reported at 8:09 p.m. Sunday.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A Joplin, Mo., man  was injured Friday when the Suzuki Verona he was driving went off Interstate 70 in Russell County near Dorrance. Matthew Robert Wayne Cagle lost control of the vehicle at 1:05 p.m. when he applied his brakes as vehicles ahead of him adjusted their speeds for snow plows on the shoulder. The Suzuki skidded sideways into the back of a Kansas Department of Transportation salt truck/snow plow driven by Troy Nathan Tammen, 43, of Russell, who was not injured. Cagle was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Russell Regional Hospital.
